Who makes a hero?

The definition is sometimes impossible to define and other times the definition can be so clear and apparent.  As many things in today’s society, actions and deeds can be overlooked or passed off as normal business as usual.

However, here in our Australian communities we have heroes 

and they can be found in the most unexpected places.

 

Community heroes are individuals who offer their courage, strength and self-sacrifice in the service of a neighbor, neighbourhood or community, to benefit people who might never know them by name.
